Located in Northwest Wilkes County NC, Bell Mountain is a gated secured community with access to good schools, shopping, recreation, entertainment and healthcare. With 79 total Lots surrounded by beautiful scenery and views of Stone Mountain and the Blue Ridge Parkway, Bell Mountain is surrounded by State and Federal lands which secure its place amongst pristine hunting grounds and forests that will never be developed.
Recreational opportunities include hiking, biking, horseback riding, rafting, tubing, and kayaking to name a few. The Appalachian Trail, NC Mountain-to-Sea Trail and Stone Mountain State Park are moments away. The area includes both private and public golf courses, as well as wineries, and festivals including MerleFest and the Brushy Mountain Apple Festival.

Annual Meeting
Our Annual Meeting is scheduled for January 31, 2026, at 11am at the Moxley Road Fire Department. Annual Meeting notices will go out soon. Please make sure to fill out a proxy if you are not able to attend and send in dues by January 31, 2026.
Our preferred method to receive dues is by Zelle to Bell.mountain.poa.bod@gmail.com. You may also write a check to Bell Mountain POA and mail it to Treasurer, Brian Stiffler, 7938 Pine Cove Lane, Denver, NC 28037. Dues are currently $400 per Lot.

On January 31, the Board will make a motion to increase dues by $200 per Lot owned.

NEW ISO RATING ANNOUNCED
Effective June 1, 2023, our local Fire Department ISO Rating is 5 (down 4 points from 9). A lower ISO Rating for Bell Mountain means that our local fire department is better prepared to handle a serious fire should one occur in our area. Many insurance companies use this rating to determine homeowner policy rates. Check with your provider should you have questions. Below is a copy of our Fire Certificate.
